This is a drawing from a project from last year. Its a light bulb from the science museum, I then used this to make a colagraph plate from which I could print from.
For this styling project I have used this inspiration to embroider onto white mesh fabric which we will use when styling our models to add layers and ruffles linking to our research into the Edwardian fashions. I have used the light bulb motif as our characters are going to be crazy inventors, the light bulb was invented in the late Victorian times.(Fabric is white but photographed on a background)
